As an Advance Practice Provider at Onto Health, Vicki works closely with team members to review patient statuses and treat them holistically. This treatment may include hormonal therapies, fertility testing and care, and in-office procedures such as endometrial biopsies.

Vicki works primarily at the Park Ridge location, but you may see her visiting any of our clinics. She also completes daily virtual consultations.

Let’s pull back the curtain a bit further with a Q&A with Vicki:

Why did you choose women’s health?

I chose to work in Women's Health because it is truly a passion of mine. My doctorate degree is in Women's Health and prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner I worked on a busy Mother/Baby unit for about 7 years. Caring for women and their families’ needs to be a major priority for our health care system and I hope to strengthen that system through work at Onto.

What’s your most impactful patient moment at Onto?

One impactful moment I've had at Onto was when a patient specifically thanked Dr. Jeelani and I for the positive outcome she had after a fertility treatment cycle. She had been working with a previous clinic and hadn't seen any positive results. After we created and implemented a tailored protocol for her, we were able to create embryos, which had been a struggle previously. I think that collaborating with team members, patients and families and creating a personalized approach to healthcare is what makes Onto special.

What's a piece of advice that has stuck with you?

I have had great mentors throughout the years and the best advice I have gotten is to always ask questions. I will always review unknowns with my peers and work to find answers I don’t have.
